Who is ipEN?

iPEN is a collaboration between all seven of
New Zealand's Crown Research Institutes
Picture
iPEN emerged from AgResearch's Adoption and Practice Change programme.
Since 2016 representatives from the CRIs have been regularly meeting and sharing experience, resources, and providing collegial support.

This website is one of several tools they are now using to continue grow a collegial network and to strengthen practice in Aotearoa New Zealand's  research, science, and innovation sector.
In 2018 they sought support from Science New Zealand's board to undertake a more formal capability building programme of work. This was delivered from 2019 - 2024 at which point funding was wound back in line with other cuts in the sector, however the network continues just in a scaled down capacity for the time being.
